Jaw dropping statement of the day

Fwance raises the white flag of dhimmitude:
Iran is a significant, respected player in the Middle East which is playing a stabilizing role, French Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy said on Monday.

"It was clear that we could never accept a destabilization of Lebanon, which could lead to a destabilization of the region," Douste-Blazy said in Beirut.

"In the region there is of course a country such as Iran – a great country, a great people and a great civilization which is respected and which plays a stabilizing role in the region," he told a news conference.
Yeah, Ahmadinadinnerjacket is such a nice guy. Let's go out and have a Carlsberg with him.

I'd like to let my foot play a stabilizing role in Mr. Blazing Douche's ...

Sorry, sorry. Lost it there for a second. I don't usually resort to ad hominem so quickly. I should take some time to muster a carefully reasoned theoretical response to what is essentially...well... A STUPID, JAW-DROPPING STATEMENT.

I think I need another Diet Coke. Gotta chill out.

Contrast that with Daniel Bernard, the French ambassador to Britain, who called Israel a "xxxxty little country" and asked, "Why should the world be in danger of World War III because of those people?"

Well, zut galores! This same fwance which gave refuge to the Ayatollah Khomeini, who, along with Britain and the U.S. prez, Jimmah legitimized the Islamic revolution, even up to and beyond the taking of hostages and holding them for 444 days. Are we surprised?

The French politicos are testing the new French-Iranian Superweapon: NUCLEAR CHEESE!

Sounds a little too moldy for me... looks like a new round of tests is in order...

Spengler is wrong on one major point.

Israel will not attack Syria.

Syria will attack Israel in Lebanon.

Tactics, Strategy, Grand Strategy

Other than that he makes a lot of points I agree with.

Spengler is also wrong about the Israeli government.

Their performance in this war has been nothing short of brilliant.

I know, I know, it looks like the opposite now. Be patient. Syria and iran have already lost the war.

Spengler is of very limited imagination.

He is fooled by appearances of Israeli/American ineptitude.
